Tarabinis Classical Jazz – The five piece Tarabinis acoustical musical group will be here to soothe us with their blend of accordion, vibes & bass. Their classical jazz style is reminiscent of the great groups from the past.
Heart Healthy Cooking Class – Joyce is be back to show us more on how to prepare heart healthy foods. This is a hands-on cooking experience with handout recipes that will include take home scrumptious desserts!
Enrichment Lecture: Percheron Horse Ranch - Dan Simpson will be here to give us the lowdown on draft horse history. You’ve seen those big, beautiful horses by the river downtown. Those are Dan’s Percheron horseranch. Learn more about the horses & the ranch.
Experience A Powerful Noise – This is an amazing documentary that takes you inside the lives of three women as they create positive, lasting changes rebuilding their communities, fighting AIDS & educating girls. Gary Spears will give a brief intro & host a discussion afterwards.
Breakfast Fundraiser- Every 15 Minutes –This is sponsored by Oakmont Village to benefit our local high school students. All residents are welcome. Funds raised are used to educate students about how drugs, drinking & driving can effect them.
